The function of the church is to save lives and not to cause men to lose their lives. The health, quarantine laws, security from evil doers, sanitation, and the sanctity of life is well established in the Bible.
Efficiency, energy savings, schedule, balance, because it is a better way to live your life. If you can get the same or better function, while spending expending less, and having less damage to the environment, society, or your body, why not?
