There is division of power or poles because each point of view or way of doing things has validity. Each person and entity have value and we should strive to learn from each other. There should not be just one voice putting down the other and wanting to dominate as if no one else has a brain or purpose.
Balance of power principle. In a sinful world where “power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, and great men are almost always bad men”, (John Dalberg-Acton) we see the balance of power principle at play.
Ecclesiastes 7:14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Acts 23:6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
