For better outcomes and happier experiences, we set our aims and standards higher than the previous generation. We build on their progress and learn and readjust from their failures and missteps.
Let us improve morally, spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially over the previous generations. The problem with justifying younger people’s sin by pointing out the sins of the previous generation. Our righteousness must exceed whoever and whatever. Let us run the race that is set before us and try to do better and build upon what was given us. Why set our standard or mark low?
Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not [himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes].
