Profession and reality should align with each other. The claim of highly blessed and the reality of highly cursed should not be so clearly evident. Claiming true church status should be heard from the local church’s pulpit. Gospel and prosperity gospel are two different things
The powerful opportunity before us to experience Israel’s blessings. If the teachings of Moses and later of Jesus were followed, Israel as a nation would be amazing to observe for their superior advantages. Results because of the blessings from God, results of following God’s laws, His statutes and ordinances, a wise people, a just people, its treatment of the poor and strangers, in disease management and prevention, natural means of treating diseases, benefits of celebrating their Creator on the Sabbath day, and the results of a hygienic diet. To name a few examples.
Deuteronomy 7: 6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. Matthew 5: 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
