As we behold the glories of God in nature, we can only acknowledge in awe, “O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! One of the meanings of the word ordain is to “establish officially by appointment or decree”. And we experience in babes and nursing infants the praise that belongs to God and God alone. The miracle of life only establishes how excellent God is and that nothing but our creator God who has made the stars and ...

“The word of the Lord is to be obeyed without question; it is to be the supreme authority in our life. Saul departed from the express commandment of the Lord, and sought to quiet the compunctions of conscience by persuading himself that the Lord would accept his sacrifice, and overlook his disobedience. When Samuel, the prophet, came to meet him, Saul acted as though he regarded himself as a righteous man, and exclaimed, "Blessed be thou of the Lord; I have performed the commandment of the Lord."
The church of Christ has been organized on earth for missionary purposes, and it is of the highest importance that every individual member of the church should be a sincere laborer together with God, filled with the Spirit, having the mind of Christ, perfected in sympathy with Christ, and therefore bending every energy according to his intrusted ability to the saving of souls.
Persecution can cause confusion because one does not know how to relate to the persecutor, especially when persecution is coming from your own brethren. There is saying, “he who feels, knows”, so David in Psalms 7 expresses what he knows about being persecuted. David begins by asking for deliverance from those who persecutes him, then continues by stating that if he has done certain wrongs...
E. G. White writing about Adam and Eve after they ate the fruit in the Garden of Eden: “Their eyes were indeed opened; but how sad the opening! The knowledge of evil, the curse of sin, was all that the transgressors gained. There was nothing poisonous in the fruit itself, and the sin was not merely in yielding to appetite. It was distrust of God's goodness, disbelief of His word, and rejection of His authority...
“O that God's people had a sense of the impending destruction of thousands of cities, now almost given to idolatry”. (E. G. White, Review and Herald, Sept. 10, 1903) We have a work to do like Jonah; “Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me”. Jonah 1:1, 2

Now the problem becomes complicated when like Jesus the enemy is a clergy or the church conference leadership.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Our attitudes, the words spoken, decisions made, and the paths where our feet walked this year...
One great evil I have seen in churches for all these years, is putting people in church offices that cannot or will not function or even try to do anything with the position. Too many church at the local and executive levels have person in positions because, "we have no one else to put into the position", they are lettered so they so be their, they are rich, got the right degree, they are my friend, etc.
To those who are content with a yin yang lifestyle will find it difficult to accept all the blessings that God wants to give everyone. Similarly a person who is settled (at peace) living a yin yang lifestyle would not be at peace in heaven. Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield". Psalm 5:8-12
