Isaiah 55:1, 2 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance”.

Every thing outside of God’s instructions for living, makes a person narrow in their living and thinking. The life outside of God’s truth is a deficient life, lacking substance and relevance. The Word offers us a different option, that we will not live aimless lives.

True religion always comes at a lower cost, but the majority wants big ornate buildings to worship in, where truth is left in the ground. Send me an address or web link to one of these gilded locations where Christ could preach in without being stoned.

Money can be used to bless and take care of my family, help the less fortunate and help spread God’s word, but the aimless life focuses on living luxuriously, hording wealth (they are loosing most of it now on Wall St.) and selfish indulgences.

The broad way wants white bread and white sugar, which is nothing but empty calories. God wants to give us something that satisfies us.

You can delight yourself in empty calorie religion or you can “eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance”.
