Many are fixed on getting a position or title in an organization, but will not work to fulfill the job description. Paul spoke to the believers saying, “For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard”. Acts 22:15 Christian is the job title, but witness (share the Gospel) is part of the job description. As Christians we are called to witness about Him who is mighty to save and His soon coming. Another job description which can be used as a job title is minister. We are to minister to the needs of others. Jesus told the story of the Good Samaritan, and how he ministered to the needs of him who had fallen among thieves and yet those who had the title of followers of God and ministers of God ignored this son of God who needed ministering to. We are seeing this sad story replay today, both in the professional ministry and the lay ministry, where ministry/minister has become a title, but not a reality. Christ words are very important,  “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven”. Matthew 7:21
